This image depicts sister Orishas, Yemaya and Ochun, holding hands against the background of Yemaya's ocean domain. Yemaya is pictured as a mermaid to since her home is in the ocean. Ochun is dressed in her color, yellow. Together they swim towards the sun which Yemaya caresses. The sun creates the form of a nipple on the breast of a female torso. The other breast is adorned with a peacock feather, a symbol of Ochun. This design was used by El Diario/ La Prensa in their 2003 Latina Destacada/ distinguished Latinas celebration.
